So last night I got to go to the Laker game against the Nugguts and watch it from the VIP box seats. This was my first basketball game and I do have to admit that it was really fun. Our client Maguire invited a select few of us to hang out in their pad and provided us all the food and beer we could eat. Unfortunately now after experiencing this I will never be able to sit with the commoners ever again.

I’m a little late posting these pictures up. But after much nagging and bitching from my old room mate Nichole pain in the mother f’ing ass Meyers I’m still in school and i used to be fun but now I’m an old hag Aldrich I have put up the photos from her cute little girls 1st birthday party held at the wonderful Dave N Busters in Irvine. Our kids loved the bounce house. Everyone had a really good time and I saw some old Seal Beach people I had not seen in some time. Rod watched sports! You can view the pics HERE.

I’m not an environmentalist by any means. I do believe that this whole going green business is a bunch of bullshit that is now ingrained into our heads for the shear purpose of feeding more money into this embedded green economy that has spun in the last years. I do believe that we should try to recycle whenever possible. I don’t believe that humans are causing global warming. I do believe that Al Gore won a Nobel Prize because he is an ha-idiot (Gore impression). I do not label myself as pro environment. I do like to think of myself as pro human.
But seriously!!!!!

I bought this coffee cup at the Disney Store in Downtown Disney and the girl wrapped it for me. I was not paying attention until I got home. 17 feet later I finally got to my Mike Wazowski coffee mug. Seriously! Is this too much paper to wrap a mug in?

So immediately after Thanksgiving I got to work on my lights spectacular. My kids helped me out by mainly watching me work as i climbed up and down the ladder. I did not intend to purchase new lights this year but unfortunately I had 2 strands of icicles that where busted. I had to make a trip to the lowes to replenish my lights. Well, guess what? They dont make my green strand icicles anymore. So I had to replace all 5 strands with white icicles. Now I am not a big conspiracy theorist or anything but much like the ratio of hot dogs in a pack to buns. Do they switch lights and decorations every couple of years so people are forced to but all new decorations? I don’t know.
Christine and I also set up our interior decorations. and with twice the size house this year we realized that we don’t have enough decorations. There will be pics up when we get our tree in a week or two.

My love for trains was rekindled yesterday at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum. Currently on display there is a huge train exhibit with up to 250 trains ranging from HO Scale to 1 gauge. Bob Lemberger who is a member of the Trains collector Association wester region came up with the design and concept. His passion for these trains is only rivaled by my passion for meat. But that is another story. The train exhibit is located in the special exhibit gallery at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum.
The Exhibit is filled with all kinds of trains and manufactors. They travel through many different environments that range from legos to fully created minutures. They all blend into a whimsical scene that changes when you walk around the entire structure. There is even a hobo living under a bridge pass. As I was there, it reminded me of the days my parents would take me to the model train museum in San Diego.
I was fortunate enough to see the exhibit as it was being created. Countless men with little tool worked around the clock to get it all done in a month. If you go and visit it will defnietly give you a huge appreciation of all the hard work that was put into it.

We went to Olivia’s birthday at a rec center in a park in Lakewood. It was really cute to have all our babies friends together. Aiden and Chase played out in the park in a ball house and really had a good time. It makes me happy when they have the biggest smiles on their face. Olivia did pretty well until the blowing out of her candle. She realized all faces where on her and had a little melt down. You can view Olivia’s birthday party pics HERE.
The second new album is of my grandfather’s birthday. My mom had it at her house and we brought Aiden and Chase over. It really gives me a good feeling when I can share my kids with their great grandfather. You can view those pics HERE.

I was informed of my bee problem by my neighbor behind. So being the reponsible person I called Long beach Vector control to come out and take a look behind my garage. He told me there was nothing he could do about it because the bees where on my private property, but he did tell me that i could take care of it myself by pluging up the hole that they were going through. He also went on to tell me that if I did not take care of the problem That the city would give me a fine of a 1000$. Thanks Vector Control! So a little expanding foam later the bees found another way in. After a couple of days of trying to plug every hole that the bees found I decided to call an exterminator.
The exterminator came and quoted me 100$ for the killing of the bees and 750$ to break the wall and remove the hive. Being the cheap bastard that I am, I went with just killing the bees. He drilled holes into the walls and sprayed toxins. The wall vibrated heavily and it actually made me very sad. I have nothing against bees. In fact they are one of the few and only insects that I think are cute. Plus, there really fascinating. The next day i get my lovely letter from vector control and it said that I had to remove all the honeycomb or I would still get the fine. Well, I decided to go for it and do it myself.
WOW! the hive went from the floor to the ceiling and spanned 3 wall studs. Absolutely amazing! The aroma of the honey filled the room. It was one of the most beautiful things I have ever seen. The tragedy was at the bottom of the hive where all the bees had collected from the poison the previous day. It was really sad too because they where not all dead. I’m glad I did it myself with the help of some of my family members. Thanks guys.

Our Halloween festivities with our kids started off last Sunday. My bosses got us in to the South Coast Plaza Crystal Court Pumpkins and Pancakes Event. We took the kids in costume and they had a great time. Aiden and Chase went as little puppies for this years Halloween. The P&P event was fun. They had characters on the first floor, Breakfast on the second, and arts and crafts on the third. Our boys were a little too young for the arts and crafts so hopefully next year they will be able to participate a little more.
On Halloween day Christine and I took the day off from work. We took Aiden and Chase out to The Richard Nixon Library to meet all of Christine’s co-workers and to show off our cute little guys. Everyone got a kick out of their little puppy outfits. We then took them to Christine’s brothers house and hung out there with Maddy and Jen to give Maddy her Halloween gifts. Afterwards we went home and relaxed for a bit. We then took the kids to my grandparents house and hung out there for a while. It always makes me feel good when I can get my kids extra time with my grandparents.
For the conclusion of our evening we went out with Aiden and Chase trick or treating around in there wagon. We stopped by to our local neighbors homes to show our kids off. They didn’t quite know what was going on but found it fun to be outside in the dark in there costume. Well, another Halloween came and went. I look forward to more Halloweens with my special little guys. They really are great to hang around with. You can view all the Halloween photos HERE!
